By clicking on the "Trend" button, you can select the period against which your chosen data period should be compared. For instance, if you have selected “quarter” as your period, you can now choose to compare the data with a previous quarter.

Now, you can see how your performance in the current period compares to the selected comparison period. If you hover over the performance indicator, you'll see which period is being used for comparison. Hovering over the box will show the exact comparison dates.
