Who this article is for
E-commerce Brand Owners & Growth Leads: Who need to make swift budget allocation decisions based on accurate attribution data.
Media Buyers & Performance Marketers: Who want to eliminate friction, multi-tab switching, and platform login delays during daily optimization.
Admetrics Workspace Admins: Managing team permissions and account controls.
What are the benefits
Decisions next to the truth: Adjust budgets alongside your real Contribution Margin 2 (CM2), new-customer acquisition rate, and true attribution models - not platform-reported metrics.
Zero tab-switching: Eliminates the need to log into external ad accounts, clear two-factor authentication, and search for individual campaigns.
Unified multi-platform management: Control budgets across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Bing side by side in a single unified interface.
Instant synchronization: Budget changes and status toggles are pushed directly to the respect platform in real time.
How to use it
Adjusting a budget
Log into your Admetrics workspace and open the Data Studio App.
Navigate to your primary reporting table within the performance view (Campaigns, Ad Sets, or Ads).
Locate the row of the item you wish to modify.
Click the three dots (...) menu located next to the campaign, ad set, or ad name.
Select Manage budget.
Enter the updated budget value in the input field.
Confirm the change. The new budget will immediately sync to the target ad platform.
Pausing or activating entities
Locate the campaign, ad set, or individual ad in your Data Studio report table.
Click the status toggle switch located right next to the entity name to switch between Active and Paused.
Confirm the action in the pop-up prompt if requested.
Requirements
To utilize Throttle Control within Admetrics, ensure your setup meets the following criteria:
User Permissions: Budget editing and status toggling are restricted to workspace users with Admin or Ad Manager permissions. Users with Viewer-only access will see budget data but cannot modify it.
Platform Integrations: Ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Bing) must have active write-level API connections established within your Admetrics account settings.
Platform API Limits: Edits are subject to individual ad platform minimum/maximum budget constraints and currency rules.
Practical examples and use cases
Scaling a verified winner: You observe a campaign maintaining a target CM2 and high new-customer rate for 7 consecutive days in Admetrics. Using Throttle Control, you increase its daily budget by 20% directly from the report table in seconds.
Cutting ad spend waste instantly: While reviewing performance, you spot an individual ad with zero conversions and high spend. Click the status toggle next to the ad to pause it immediately before wasting further budget.
Cross-platform balance: During a promotional push, compare TikTok and Meta campaign ROAS side-by-side and reallocate budget from the weaker platform to the stronger one without opening multiple browser tabs.
