Maintaining continuous, accurate data flow is crucial for effective marketing analytics, and while our platform is robust, occasional data loading issues are a normal occurrence. In the following guide, the most common issues will be explained, along with how you can fix them quickly.
What you will learn in this article:
How to identify and distinguish between the two causes of a "No Data Available" warning in your integrations.
The steps required to resolve a re-authentication issue when an account token has expired.
Why Amazon order status updates (Pending to Shipped) can cause temporary delays in new customer status reporting.
What issues can occur with Data Loading?
1. No data available
If Admetrics shows a No Data warning, there are typically two causes you should check:
Cause 1: Data Pull Occurred, but Source is Empty.
This warning occurs when our system successfully performs a data pull from an integrated source but finds nothing during the last pull. If you are not spending anything or have paused campaigns, this is not a problem - it is simply an additional information note for you.Cause 2: No Data in Your Source.
If there is genuinely no data in your source (e.g., you have zero sales or zero ad spend), the issue should be solved directly in your integration source.
Note: If you expect to see data but the warning persists, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
2. Re-Authentification necessary
In this scenario, a re-authentication in your data source is necessary. This typically happens when the authentication token or credentials have expired or been revoked on the source platform.
You will receive an email linking directly to the data source that needs to be re-authenticated, or you can navigate directly to the settings within the Admetrics dashboard and click on “re-authenticate” next to the specific integration.
3. Amazon Integrations
When you have your Amazon sales integrated, frequent delays are common. We are continually working on optimizing this integration.
In addition to general data delays, please be aware that the new customer status in Admetrics will only update once the status of your Amazon orders switches from Pending to Shipped. Before this transition, we do not receive the final status confirmation from Amazon.
This update is dependent on when you mark the orders as shipped. While this process typically takes less than 2 days, we have observed that in some instances, it can take up to 5 days for the status to fully reflect in your Admetrics dashboard.
