How to report on ad performance across ad sets and campaigns?

You probably run the same ad across different ad sets. If you are interested in the overall performance of the ad across all ad sets you can group ads with the same name using the “Ad name” dimension:

You can use that information to check the overall performance of ads with the same name.

Steps to re-create the view

1. Open the performance view.
2. Filter on Channels, Campaign, Ad Set/Group, or Ad level.
3. Change the Breakdown to Ad name.
4. Change the Metric list to Performance.
