1. What is the CLV-Breakdown?

The CLV Report is a subset of the Performance view, offering you more detailed insights into your Customer Lifetime Values (CLVs) across various breakdowns, such as channels or campaigns. This report provides a thorough analysis of Customer Lifetime Value, including both an overall breakdown and an understanding of how quickly customers generate value (e.g., 30-day and 60-day CLVs).

If your CLV increases over time, it serves as a strong indicator of a valuable channel, suggesting that it may be worthwhile to invest more in acquiring clients through that channel. The breakdown feature in the Performance view allows you to drill down into specific cases, giving you even deeper insights to optimize your strategies.

💡 When you hover over the metrics, you can see a description of them.

2. What can I set in the CLV-Breakdown?

First order, Attribution, Filter

You can select the point of time when the first order of your breakdown (e.g. the first order of a campaign) should be.

Then you can choose an attribution model or set filters.

Breakdown

The breakdown button allows you to analyze data further. You can also select customer tag as a breakdown option. More information on customer tags can be found here.

Share View or Export

If you want to share your view, you can click on the Share-button in the top right corner. If you want to share exactly the same view, you should choose “static”. If you want to allow others to change the time references of the data, you should choose “relative”.

For instance, if today is 19th September and you have selected the last seven days as your period and chosen Static, your team member will see the data from 12th to 19th September, no matter on which day he opens the link.

However, if you choose Relative and your team member opens the link on 22nd September, they will see the data from the last seven days relative to their current date, which would be 15th to 22nd September.

By clicking on the Settings-Symbol you can export your data. When exporting data, you can select between various data formats. By clicking on “Export via scheduled email,” you can also schedule regular exports of your reports. You can manage the recipients and set the frequency for these reports. Under “Manage Exports,” you can view and edit the scheduled email reports you've created.

Pin a column

By clicking on the pin icon, you can pin a column so that it remains visible when you scroll to the right of the table.

Turn Toggle sort on or off

The toggle sorting function allows you to sort columns by clicking the two triangles in each column. You can switch between ascending (lowest to highest) and descending (highest to lowest) order.
